Terms of Service

Last updated: 26 October 2026

These terms apply to Lateby (the “software”), provided by Atesen Software, the trading name of Samet Ateşen, a sole proprietor based in Adapazarı, Sakarya, Türkiye (“we”, “us”). Contact: sametatesen2@gmail.com.

1. Who sells the Practice plan

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

2. What the software does

Lateby is a calculation and document tool. It reads invoice export files in your browser, works out simple interest on overdue amounts using the rate and settings you choose, and produces a Xero invoice import file, PDF notices and a summary spreadsheet. Its output is a calculation, not legal advice. It does not give professional, legal or debt collection advice, it does not lend, hold or move money, it does not send messages to your customers, and it does not connect to any bank or accounting system.

2a. Your responsibility for charging interest

You decide whether to charge interest and at what rate. Charge it only where your contract terms allow it or the law gives you the right (for example a statutory late-payment regime for business-to-business debts), and check the rate, dates and amounts against your records before you approve or send anything. Lateby is intended for business-to-business (B2B) invoices only; do not use it for debts owed by consumers, which are subject to separate rules.

3. Free use and the Practice plan

The free version works out interest for every customer and makes the import file and PDF notices for the first 3 customers charged in each file. The Practice plan is a subscription ($19 per month or $190 per year, plus any tax Paddle adds) that removes that limit for one practice or business. A practice is one business and its staff and contractors working on its own or its clients’ accounts. Do not share the license key outside your practice.

4. Renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. Cancel at any time from the link in your Paddle receipt email, or by emailing us. Access continues until the end of the period you have paid for; we do not charge again after you cancel.

5. Refunds

See our Refund Policy. It does not affect your statutory rights.

6. Your data

Export files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to us. See the Privacy Policy.

7. Acceptable use

Use the software only for data you are authorised to process. Do not attempt to bypass the license check or resell the software.

8. Warranty and liability

We work to make calculations accurate, but export layouts vary and the software is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Trademarks

Xero is a trademark of Xero Limited. Lateby is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Xero.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes to paid plans apply from your next renewal, and we will tell subscribers by email beforehand.

11. Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without affecting mandatory consumer protections where you live.
